We're coming to you very quickly after Brian Kelly's first media availability since

right after the South Florida game, roughly when things shut down about two days later.

And then we also got a chance to talk to head trainer Rob Hunt about some of Notre Dame's

protocols, what's working, what's not, what needs to change.

Matt, you were on the call, too. Overall,

I mean, I thought it was incredibly insightful and especially Rob Hunt really cut to the chase on a lot of,

I think, questions that people had and uncertainties about how long you can come back from isolation when you have a positive test what that actually means how the the quarantine works and basically how Notre Dame ended up with an outbreak on its hands you know i i know some people have pushed back on the notion that it was you know outbreak isn't the right term but when your head trainer uses it it was an outbreak you know when you're shutting down your program for about a week, that's an outbreak. So I don't know, what was the most

interesting takeaway from that aside from just the numbers of how long guys are out and what they

expect to have back this weekend? Good news, out of bad news, if that makes sense.

I mean, they're going to practice today and knock on wood, barring any surprises in the next week.

Next week's game against Florida State is on, which is probably a bad thing for Florida State.

I mean, they answered every questions.

They were not defensive.

They were not rah-rah about this.

I mean, said it before.

Brian Kelly has been publicly and privately based on that South Florida locker room speech

as proactive as anyone, I think, in his business about stopping this thing out, taking care of it,

following all the rules, and making sure they can do things safely. And so I'm sure there's a part

of him that's really frustrated, whether it's at himself, whether it's at his players, whomever.
