This This week, I sat down with four parents who are navigating the devastating loss of a child to suicide during the pandemic.

When COVID-19 lockdowns and remote learning began taking a toll on the emotional well-being of our children. I admire them for sharing their untold stories with us

and raising awareness on the warning signs to save more lives.

Chris Buckner, Dara and Frank Falco, and Penny Watney, join me now.

So I want to start by thanking all of you for being with us today.

Obviously, you've all been through a devastating loss of a child.

Any parent can only begin to understand what you've been through.

So we've talked a lot about the impact of COVID, the impact of the lockdowns on children,

on not being able to return to school, what that, how that impacted their lives.

And there's obviously a huge range of that impact on different children, depending on what they're going through in their own lives.

But I know that for all of you, you are hoping that what you can share from your experience might help to save other lives,

might help other children and families by your honesty of speaking

about what happened to you because we all know that this can happen in any family. So I want to

start by thanking you for your bravery in speaking because as a mom I can only imagine, I can't imagine,

but I can I can empathize in some way as a parent with what you've been through.

So I would love for each of you to kind of tell us a little bit about your story, about your family.
