This is another special edition of On One with Angela Rye entitled an unprecedented

impeachment argument.

Let's start with July 24th 2019.

Robert Mueller testified before the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees for

a total of seven hours.

He refused to answer a number of questions and the questions he answered, oh they only

made those of us who are pro impeachment even more pro impeachment.

Robert Mueller served as the special counsel to the Russian investigation.

The Mueller investigation began when he was appointed on May 17th 2017 by Deputy Attorney

General Rod Rosenstein, according to order number 3915.

To investigate any interference by Russia in the 2016 election, obstruction of justice

and interference in that investigation, that investigation was closed in mid-March with

the release of a 448 page report to Attorney General William Barr and it was delivered

on March 22nd 2019.

On April 18th 2019, a redacted version of the report was released to the American public.

I read that same report on this podcast for more than 16 hours.

If you all haven't listened, I encourage you to do just that.

The special counsel's investigation costs $25.2 million in indirect and direct spending.

The final cost is expected to be somewhere closer to $34 million.

The good news?

As the result of the investigation, more than $40 million has been recovered, so the investigation

is more than paid for.
