All of the stories have a holiday feel to them, stories of gifts, God, awkward family visits, especially this one that we'll start with.

It's one of my favorite stories and you may have heard it before on the program but it's definitely

fun to hear again.

It's the story behind a very famous photograph taken in the Oval Office

of the White House where former President Richard Nixon stands next to Elvis Presley,

who's wearing a high-collared shirt, black cape, and an enormous belt buck.

This was just before Christmas 1970.

The story you'll hear is told by a man who was there.

Before a successful career in the music industry,

Jerry Schilling spent decades as a close personal friend

to Elvis Presley.

He lived at Graceland.

He worked as part of Elvis's Memphis Mafia entourage.

But by 1970, Jerry was making his own way, working at a movie studio in Los Angeles.

But late one night night his telephone rings and Jerry Schilling

finds that just when you think you're out of the Memphis mafia, Elvis pulls you
