0:12.0	And so you're going to get a sense of two very different perspectives on the conflict, but actually, I think you'll come away finding more common ground than you would suspect on the

0:23.7	But before we get there, there is a lot of news out there.
0:26.8	Let's start with this Hunter Biden story.
0:29.0	So just right before I sat down to record, Hunter Biden was found guilty of falsely claiming
0:34.5	to be drug-free when applying to buy a handgun six years ago.
0:38.1	He was convicted of three counts by a federal jury, which deliberated for about three hours, over two days.
0:44.2	The jury found that Hunter bought a 38-calibur cold cobra revolver in October 2018.
0:49.8	He lied on a federal form by checking a box to say he wasn't addicted to or using drugs at the time.
0:56.0	And the trial went on for about a week.
0:59.7	Jurors heard about his struggle to stay sober, including evidence that he bought and used
1:04.5	drugs in the weeks before and the days after he purchased the gun.
1:08.6	He faces up to 25 years behind bars, although it is unlikely he'll get
1:13.5	anything close to that. He'll probably get a fraction of that. President Biden has said he would
1:18.1	not pardon his son and otherwise stood by him issuing a statement he was proud of the man
1:23.7	Hunter Biden is now. And so this comes after the collapse of an agreement in which Hunter's
1:29.2	team have been set to plead guilty on a pair of misdemeanor tax charges to avoid prosecution.
1:34.9	That plea deal fell apart. I would say in some confusing fashion that we covered on the show.
