I'm the founder and editor of Cherry Bomb Magazine. My guest today is Sarah B. Franklin, author of the new book, The Editor, How Publishing Legend Judith Jones Jones shaped culture in America. Judith is best known

in the food world for her work with Julia Child, Edna Lewis, Mother Joffrey, Claudia Rodin, and many

others. She helped usher in the modern cookbook era and changed the culinary world in the process.

She established many firsts in the world of champagne, the first vintage champagne, the riddling table, and the blended rosé champagne.

To celebrate the 200th anniversary of the house, Vuv Clicoe launched Le Grand Dame

Champagne, 1972, in tribute to her. Her namesake champagne continues to be made with grapes from

Vov Clico's historical Grong Crew vineyards, some of which Madame Clico purchased herself. Her legacy
