The good news is one month on, there was a report prepared by Transport for London,

and it's fantastic to see the progress we've made.

So when I first announced this policy back in February 2017,

39% of vehicles seen driving on an average day were compliant, so I don't pay any ULES, which meant actually quite a lot of vehicles were non-compliant.

Polluting would have to pay the ULays.

Last May, May 2020, that figure had gone up to 85%.

And the great use is one month on.

95% of vehicles seen driving across London, including outer London,

are compliant. They don't pay a penny to drive the vehicle that they drive, but they are seeing

the benefits of cleaner air. And there's been a 97% reduction in sort of coverage in the media

and on social media. I saw that. Do you think it's dead as a political issue? Do you think it's an issue in the mayoral election? Well, I think cleaner should be an issue because if you want cleaner, you'll support my policies and you'll vote for me if you want Toxicay. You'll vote for the Tory candidate who wants to get rid of all the ulyzers, get rid of all the congestion charges
