I sometimes think I'll jump in and say good evening or say something first, but I don't want to mess up the routine. And I think maybe my opening my mouth just a little bit there sort of messed us up. So sorry about that. I wasn't even paying any attention to you actually. But thanks for trying to take the blame for my fault. There you go. I'm so excited about tonight's show. We've got a great show tonight we have on the show and

we'll bring them out in just a couple of minutes uh lars nielsen who has written a controversial

and very exciting new book called how the book of mormon came to pass there it is right there

there's my copy of it which i got uh in the mail on Friday after having ordered it,

I think from Amazon. And I have made my way through it all the way, 366 pages, 368, if you want to

count it a different way. And this is a large book. There's a lot of writing on every page. This is

very densely written. And I will say right

now that this is a very, very well-written book. Lars Nielsen is quite the author. He has

amassed a great deal of information and research. Over 10 years he spent working on this. And he

has managed to take all that information and then put it into the book in a way

that is capable for me, at least, to understand what it is he's saying.

And he says it in a wonderful way, very interesting.

So I think he's definitely earned the right through his research to be able to come on the show

and present what it is that his thesis is and why it is that he believes this is the way

the book of Mormon came to pass or the way it ended up being written and why it looks and reads

the way it does and why to steal a phrase from Brian Hales, why it has the where the words came from,

right? Where the words came from in the book of Mormon, although I think Lars' theory on that's

...
