Today's 10-minute walk is helping you keep your fitness promise, which adds another link

to your growing fitness chain.

Ava and I were out for a walk last night and we had what I thought was a humorous moment.

I'm not even sure that Ava recognized it as such because

our personalities are different, but I felt it in the moment, heard what I heard, and laughed

inside. Meanwhile, Ava, I think, was somewhat oblivious. So we were out walking and typically we leave our home and then

walk to the center part of our town and there's a big lake and I think it's a one mile paved trail

around the lake and sometimes we will walk around the lake sometimes sometimes we'll walk past part of the lake, and last night was a part of the lake walk.

So we reach the crosswalk, the lake's on the other side of the street, and we're standing there waiting for the light to change, allowing us to walk across,

and another couple comes up, and they had a couple of dogs.

Ava and I were talking, waiting, and Ava said a couple of things to the other couple,

and they responded, you know, light-hearted banter.

And then the light changed, and we walked across the

street, and Ava and I did what we normally do. We turned right, and we were walking at our

normal speed. It was a moderate pace. We don't walk, when I'm walking with her, we don't walk as

fast as I usually do, and she probably don't walk as fast as I usually do.

And she probably doesn't walk as slow as she would like to sometimes.

So it's a moderate pace.

It's a normal pace.

And we're walking.

And I could tell that this other couple with the dogs had turned and they were walking in the same direction at about the same speed

and they were right behind us. For Ava and others who have her personality, it's like, so what,
