It was the last weekend of summer for the boys. That's right, the California

school calendar. It's not even, summer is still three weeks longer here, man. I know. I don't

know why it's hot here. I don't know why we're going back, but we are on Tuesday. We're going

one last hurrah. We're going to take them. I'm going to take them to Great America on Tuesday, the second to last day of summer, just to rail against the dying of the light, you know.

But this weekend we had to do, they have fall ball coming up.

So we had to do bullpens and some BP.

Yeah.

It was fun, though.

We got in some resting around the house as well.

All right. Working in baseball and around baseball throughout the weekend, it sounds like.

Let's get some news you should know. Hunter Green expected to return from the I.L. on Wednesday.

And I think a lot of people were looking at this. That only has a big boost to fantasy teams, but also if you're going to project the Reds as a team that could catch fire and then chase down one of the teams currently ahead of them for playoff position, a healthy Hunter Green every fifth day is a big, big part of that recipe.

I wonder if their playoff odds changed with that announcement. But, you know, his projections

are baked in, but if his actual innings pitch changed in the projections with the announcement

that he's up this week, then it might have actually changed
