Welcome back to Latin Rouge cycling podcast for the Amstel Gold Race ladies edition 155 kilometers.

It's actually the old style finish. The like Phil Jill World Champs Cowberg finish. I quite like it,

0:14.4

but we'll see whether it actually induced good racing. They do repetitions, four laps or so of a

0:22.2

cowberg pool hemibur and Bemela Berg combination. These are short well paved climbs, unlike their

0:31.2

flandry and counterparts. And yeah, they are. I mean, proper roads. They're just like it's a

0:37.3

hilly region in the south of the Netherlands near Maastricht. If my geography serves me correctly.

0:44.7

We had an appetizer for a bounce on Wednesday bingey with Perseco winning the sprint against

0:50.2

Valorant. Did you think that would inform how SD works with race today? I think it would firstly

0:57.5

inform how you were he would race today. As we saw you were he having the better sprint in that

1:02.7

group in Brabantsepell in Silvia, Perseco beating them evolving. So maybe they would try and keep it

1:07.5

together today and just get Perseco to the cowberg, get her over the cowberg and try and win from

1:14.1

the group that forms after the cowberg. That's how I saw you a East plan going into this race. But when

1:18.8

it comes to SD works, I don't know because they've got multiple leaders that can get over the cowberg,

1:25.8

eh? And if you have that situation, then you can benefit from that after we saw it last year with

1:31.2

Cavalien, Utreplodwig, both being in the group after the cowberg. Was it both of them after the

1:37.2

cowberg? They had two riders after the cowberg, right? And then Cavalien attacked. So they benefited

1:41.9

from the numerical advantage they had in that in that group. And then a rider like Perseco without

1:46.8

teammates can't really do much against that, huh? No. And I mean, UAE and Yombo seem to have

1:54.8

that same strategy of just hope it's a really negative race. It all comes back together and

1:59.6

Vos can go for a sprint. And Perseco can win the sprint. UAE don't really have many other options.

2:08.1

I think it's a fine strategy if they can, you know, she's got to be good enough if she's not,

2:14.1

anyway, other teams like Canyon Shramp haven't won a big race, a World Tour race for a number of
