I started making this with my son because he needed something that was low inflammation,

something that was high calorie, that tasted good,

and something that he could participate in making.

So we were literally putting these items together in a bowl,

mashing them with our hands,

using little cutouts for cookie cutter cutouts and making bars, cookies, whatever, with it. So that was a genesis of it. And then we just so happened to do a social behavior experiment with him.

So a lot of kids in the autism spectrum really have a really hard time with eye contact.

And we spent a summer at the farmer's market.

Actually, that's a particular first summer.

And it was really designed just to get him to be more comfortable talking to

people he was right around four years at that age at that time and we were just probably lucky or just

just happened that the whole food's buyer for the region was walking through the farmer's market

and kind of love what we were doing asked if you'd be interested in participating in their local

store and, you know, kind of the rest is history in many ways. And I had no idea about food or anything

like that. So this was right around 2012 and 2013. I quit my corporate job. I was an executive at IBM

and just went all in to running this business
