Americans. What makes you glad that you don't live in Europe?

In America, I'm really glad that almost everything is open on Sundays.

I lived in Germany for a few months and didn't plan groceries right that first weekend.

Grocery store was closed. I didn't have anything to eat, so I walked into town to find a restaurant,

and the only thing open was Pizza Hut. I don't even like Pizza Hut when I'm in the US. So the narrator's first

video on this channel was things that outsiders find really weird about the States. So, in

the spirit of fairness, let's see if we hold up over here under the scrutiny of our friends

from across the pond. Let us have it, Americans.

Being a second-generation Ukrainian, one thing America has that Ukraine doesn't,

is a societal norm to not drive or park on the sidewalks.

As someone who's been to Greece quite a few times, Greek drivers.

Holy crap, they do whatever they feel like on the road, whenever they feel like it.

Things closing really early.

I was at a coffee shop doing homework when studying abroad.

By about three, they came up to me and kicked me out since they were about to close.

In the US, coffee shops are often open pretty

late for people to study in, so that was weird to me. Other than that, I think living in Europe

would be wonderful. It's been years since I've been to Europe. Hell, the last time I was there

was before places in the States started banning smoking, but I do remember a ton of smoking there. I know this isn't

all of Europe, but I'm glad that in the States we don't have those taps that have two separate

spouts for hot and cold, with two faucets. They just seem like such an inconvenience. Nothing quite like

washing your hands as fast as you can under the hot tap before the water
