Hello, and welcome to the Byron York Show, the Notechitchat podcast.

We'd like to get right into it, and what we're going to get into today is some new data,

a new poll showing that Americans are really growing tired of sending money to Ukraine.

I know everybody's talking about the Trump case and all this other stuff, but this is

a very, very serious issue.

So you know that President Biden has often said that the United States will continue sending

military aid to Ukraine, quote, for as long as it takes to win the war with Russia.

January 25 this year, Biden said to the Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, quote,

we're with you for as long as it takes, in quote, now last month, Biden said, quote,

our commitment to Ukraine will not weaken. We will stand for liberty and freedom today,

tomorrow, and for as long as it takes. Now you can look it up. There are many other examples

of the President saying the same thing, so that's pretty clear his policy, US support for as long

as it takes. But now we're a year and a half into the war, and it appears that most Americans,

and by most, I mean most Americans, do not support Biden's indefinite commitment to Ukraine.

There's a new CNN poll shows that a majority, in this case, 55%, majority says Congress,

quote, should not authorize additional funding to support Ukraine in the war with Russia.

Okay, that's 55%. Now a smaller majority, but still a majority, 51%, say the US,

quote, has already done enough to stop Russian military actions in Ukraine. You will not be surprised

to know that another majority, 53%, disapprove of Joe Biden's handling of the Ukraine issue.

Now this poll, like most, breaks down the data into demographic bits of information.

How do people answer the question according to their race, their sex, their age, their income,

their educational level, whatever? And it shows that most demographic groups oppose an indefinite
