into it and what we're going to get into today is a change in the conventional wisdom

that has happened in the last few days and you could describe it in three words.

Trump could win.

In past few days we've seen a number of political analysts come to a pretty momentous conclusion.

Actually two momentous conclusions.

The first one is that it is very unlikely, highly unlikely that anyone can catch Donald

Trump, the former president, in the race for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.

Trump just too far ahead.

The second momentous conclusion is that it is entirely possible that Trump, now having

won the GOP nomination, could go on to win the general election and become president

Trump again.

Now, some of you are listening and saying, I knew that, but a lot of people didn't think

that was possible.

Certainly the latter part of Trump actually winning the general election, they didn't think

it was possible and a lot of people are expecting some sort of change to occur in the 2024

primary race.

Now, any analysis has got to include all of the necessary caveats, okay, a lot of caveats.

It is early.

The situation is unprecedented.

Anything can happen.

All of those, lots and lots and we'll return to the caveats later that's got to give
