You're making me a little sad because we can't travel or we really shouldn't be traveling

out of the country and all of that.

But I am not abroad. And I think that is fitting for what we're here to talk about

today, just in reverse. Yeah, yeah, that makes sense to me. No traveling for us, lots of traveling

for lots of Americans currently, I will not say playing their trade. I will just say playing

in Europe. We've got 10 or so players we're going to talk about, but we're, I think Joe and I were both a little bit hesitant to give the view behind the curtain to have the kind of same conversations over and over and over again about like, yep, like Tyler Adams did that. Like Geo Rain is still good on the ball. So what we wanted to do was maybe get down into some specifics, get into some details a little bit, and look at like specific moments that stood out to us from different performances from around Europe. Is that a fair summary of what we're doing today, Joe? That is a great summary. Also, do you have a problem with Plyer Trade? Is that a verbal crutch or where are we out on that? It's an easy one when you are writing like a player summary. It's one of those certain ones. Yeah, yeah. A well-organized defense. He plies his train abroad, all those sort of things. There's a few of them. The soccer cliches, as they are. Football cliches? I respect you for steering away of them. Yeah. Yeah. Well, well, played on that one. Thank you.

Well, since I have done a little bit of rambling,

Joe, why don't you get us started? Which player are we going to be talking about first? So the first player, and this just feels right to me that we're going to get into today, is Matthew Hoppe. And we know how to pronounce his name. you said it beautifully on the weekend review yesterday with Ryan and Graham.

Matthew Hoppe, if somehow you missed it out there, listeners and listener land, Matthew Hoppe scored a hat trick. He's 19 years old and he scored a hat trick in Shalka's 4-0 win over Hoffenheim. And the way we're doing this show, Taylor, is you and I are going to and we're going to pick specific moments and specific things that we saw from the players that we're going to talk about and use the one moment in time in the game as an excuse to talk

about why we picked that moment and maybe some more general topics about the player.

And in my moment for Matthew Hoppe and I invite you to join me and maybe have your own moment

excuse me, sealed his hat trick.

And he became the third American to ever score a hat trick in Europe's top five leagues and the first

American to ever score a hat trick in the Bundesliga.
