Hello and welcome everyone to another Americans Abroad edition of The Total Soccer Show.

My name is Taylor Rockwell.

And with me, I have a man who mails suspicious packages around the country.

I think it's Joe Lowry.

I know it's Joe Lowry.

I think it was Joe Lowry sending packages.

Joe, is that correct? That is correct. So you got it. I've been wondering that for a while now, honestly.

It arrived yesterday, and it was, I thought it was from you. I wasn't entirely sure, and that I opened it up, and there was a loaf of bread inside the package.

I don't know if there was a note. Did you include a note as well, or did you just want your bread to be your signature? As far as I'm aware, it was bread only. I do wonder, like, was it still in the right shape? I've never mailed a loaf of bread before, believe it or not. Nor have I. And so, like, is it still roughly resembling a loaf? Where are we at on the visual?

It still looks like a loaf to me.

I held off posting anything because I wanted to spring this on you.

And with the off chance being that it wasn't you and it was just somebody else in Arizona who knew that we were both talking about bread baking, It also does feel a little bit like you're rubbing it in my face,

that you have the time and energy to learn how to bake bread while I still.

Think about doing that and then inevitably just fall asleep wherever I can and try to get like an hour of sleep. Well, I mean, Taylor, to be fair, only one of us has a very, very young child slash baby slash being that they now have to take care of. That's why it's not me. It feels like you're rubbing into my face. That's what I'm saying. I've got a little extra time.

If you're bold enough, I mean, like the bread hopefully is good. I didn't get a chance to try it. Otherwise, you would have had just a loaf with one slice missing. But I'm curious to see what you think if you have the bravery to try my baking. But I don't know. Either way, you now have a loaf of bread from Arizona.

I appreciate that.

We have a very, very, very good bakery near to our house that I might just have to go buy a loaf from and then send it to you and pretend I made it. But then I'm living a life of lies and deception. I don't know if I knew that, Joe. I'm fine with that. If I'm getting carbs, you know, it's going to be fine. Well, we're not just here to talk about bread, although I do. What was the loaf? Honestly, it's been like a couple weeks now. I don't remember. I think it's like, well, I don't know. I don't know, Taylor, I have the memory of a goldfish, all right? I think it's some sort of like honey, molasses-y, sweeter wheat bread. like like, and something in that vein. I've tried out a couple of different recipes. And, again, I'm curious to see if you can identify the flavors in it, because clearly I've forgotten. I feel like we're talking French toast bread here, and I'm excited about it. Oh, it could be. Until I go make some French toast, let's talk about the Americans who did some stuff or didn't do that much stuff. This past weekend, we've got, I believe, eight or so we're going to talk about Joe. Who should we talk about first? Let's talk Chris Richards, shall we? Let's do it. I think any Americans abroad conversation is better off for starting with Chris Richards. And he did start, in fact, for Hoffenheim over the weekend in their

one-one draw with Union Berlin. Chris Richards Taylor is looking more and more comfortable. He

looks, he doesn't look out of place at all. Every time I've watched him, that could be in the

Europa League. Hoffenheim bowed out last week, I believe, to mold in the Europa League. But

Richard is now a regular starter in pretty much all of Hoffenheim's big games. He started in each of their last four games. That's some Bundesliga, some European competition. He's playing as that left-sided centerback in a back three. And man, he's looked good. Have you seen Taylor, this is not to put you on the spot, but have you seen any little bits of Chris Richards that would give you an idea of how he's playing?
