And particularly great to be here with David. My friend David Rothkoff, also colleague of sorts,

my most weeks appear on deep state radio, the conspiracy in plain view, which if you're not

a podcast listener, this is how you should, you know, break your teeth on it. So David, let's

get straight to your book. This is a wonderful book. I mean, this is a really good book.

And the thing that first struck me when reading it all the way through really was that

the question kept occurring in my head, did this really just happen? Because I'd become

so acclimatized like most people and benhammed an unshokable that I'd forgotten that Trump

not just wanted to build a wall, but wanted to build a moat all along the wall and the

moat would have crocodiles and snake the night. And this wasn't some of our alligators,

alligators, sorry, crocodiles, alligators. This is we're going to be divided by a common

language throughout this all that he was at some D day celebration in Europe where he refuses

to go to a World War II cemetery because it was full of losers. All that he wanted to strike

refugee caravans coming up from Central America with missiles and hurricanes with nuclear

weapons and so on. That did this really just happen? Well, I guess my first question

to you is, I mean, you have bought out very vividly the sense of shock that I thought

I'd lost just by rereading this in the detail that you provide. What was it in researching
