Each week for this six week period, we will present to you a special guest with whom I spoke

during the preparation of the book, who can speak to the core issues it addresses how government

professionals, career officials and appointees put their oaths of office at a party loyalty and

repeatedly staved off disaster during the Trump years, or at least attempted to. My guest for

this episode is Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman, US Army retired, former National Security

Council staffer, the man whose courageous testimony about the Trump shake down of the

Vizolansky government, a new crane led to the first impeachment author of Hear Right Matters

and to be candid about it, another of those whose actions and conversations with me ultimately

a good background, but the fact that I could be an inspiration for this undertaking is meaningful.

So I appreciate you saying that. It's certainly true of all the people who are associated with

the idea at the core of this book. You may be one of those who comes first to mind for people,

because you, many people did not know prior to the impeachment. Some and a great deal of courage

stepped forward because of the values that you have and said, no, what happened here was wrong

and presented it to the Congress, presented it to the public,

led to the impeachment of the president of the United States, also led you to lose your job.
