In episode thirty of The Running Effect (with Dominic Schlueter), we speak with Shelby Houlihan from the Bowerman Track Club. Shelby is the American Record Holder in the 5k (14:23), 1500m (3:54), and made the Olympic games in 2016, but her journey to get there hasn't always been smooth. She was born with a rare hereditary blood disorder called spherocytosis and had other struggles throughout her career. Her champion mindset has set her apart from other competitors throughout each stage in her career/life. There are so many amazing lessons/principles she shares in this show! I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did!
