And I'm Antonia Dodge. I grew up in a very tight-knit family. My family, my extended family, not just my immediate family, my extended

family on my dad's side, for over 50, 60 years I think has gotten together at my grandfather's house and I'm talking like 200 people right cousins my grandfather like six no seven brothers and sisters and all their kids and grandkids would get together once a year over a holiday weekend at the end of summer for two days and hang out together and sing songs out at a campfire, it's kind of corny stuff, right?

But we like very tight knit family.

Very much, like no fights happened. It was very close, tight knit and

amazing family that I grew up in.

And then in the last couple years,

probably in the last, I'd say five to seven years,

the families all of a sudden started to break apart.

don't get along with some of the people in Pennsylvania who don't get along with some of the people in Pennsylvania who don't get along

with some of the people in Oklahoma because we all come in together for these big reunions

right and all of a sudden within the last year actually the family has started to

break apart because they can't seem to see

eye to eye. Now they agree politically most of the time, they agree philosophically, they agree

religiously, and yet there's a lot of tension and a lot of fracturing in my extended family. And I've been racking my brain to try to figure out what's going on because I can't seem to find

out why there's so many differences and this family that's been close-knit for almost 60 years

is starting to break apart.

Now this is a natural atrophy that happens with families. I think

things just naturally go through their cycles. My grandfather's generation I

think is all passed away. I think there's a few of the in-laws still alive but

most of that generation's passed away and so the next generation
