0:04.5	Psalm 33 is kind of our opening text. And then I'm going to talk about America's godly heritage
0:09.9	on this eve of our national independence. Psalm 33, I'll read verses 12 to 22.
0:22.0	Psalm 33, verse 12 says,
0:24.2	Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.
0:29.2	The people he has chosen as his own inheritance.
0:32.9	The Lord looks from heaven.
0:34.9	He sees all the sons of men.
0:37.1	From the place of his dwelling, he looks on all the
0:39.5	inhabitants of the earth. He fashions their hearts individually. He considers all their works.
0:45.8	No king is saved by the multitude of an army. A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.

1:14.6	because we have trusted in His holy name. Let your mercy, O Lord, be upon us just as we hope in you.
1:22.7	Let's pray. Lord, it is good to be in your house. It is good, Lord, for us to remember our freedoms that come from you.
1:30.5	It is good to give thanks for the privilege of living in the United States of America.
1:35.5	And we thank you, Lord, for our godly heritage.
1:37.9	And we pray that today, as we look into these things, that we would just be thankful.
1:43.4	Thankful, Lord, for how you stirred the hearts of men
1:46.2	to be a part of the framing and founding of this nation.
