And he's publishing a book coming up a very timely, portent book considering the state of the United States. And the title of that book, which will be published in September of 2021 is America's bankruptcy approaches,

how to resolve the issue and prevent it from reoccurring. Again, the author's name is Archie

Richards. It's not his first book last year. He wrote America's Governments, Enemies of the Poor,

published 2020. And then in 2007, he wrote Understanding Exchange Traded Funds. So he's very apt and has

skilled knowledge about financial markets and financial issues. And he could talk more about that.

So Mr. Archie Richards, are you there? I certainly am, William. Thank you.

Awesome. Well, thanks for agreeing to the interview. People may not know of your background.

Can you talk a little bit about yourself, maybe your professional career, and what led you

to write this book, America's bankruptcy approaches?

Well, I started out in the investment business.

I was registered with the Security and Exchange Commission as an investment advisor.

But then I became a nationally syndicated columnist.

I wanted to try to persuade people how to avoid brokers.

And I found I loved writing, especially about Money Matters,

who was called Richards on Money Matters.

And I did that for quite a number of years.

And then I'm also, there's a piano in my background.

I'm also a concert pianist, and I went back to that

and did that professionally for a number of years.

And but then when the lockdown came, I was no longer able

to go to play. So I had already written a number of monthly columns on current affairs. And I thought, well, why don't't I just I had done that for three years

and I to my friends and to the local newspaper and I thought why don't I just turn those into a book
