I want to speak to you about the 21st century evil empire. Now, many people of this generation probably are not familiar with the word evil empire,

but those of us who are in our 60s and 70s and older, we remember the evil empire as being

the Soviet Union.

I remember Ronald Reagan in many of his speeches, he would refer to the Soviet Union as an

evil empire.

Why?

Because it was one of the most powerful, well, I should say it was the most powerful

communist nation on the face of the earth,

even more powerful than the Chinese Communist Party,

which we used to call China under communism red China.
