With allegations of sexual harassment and abuse engulfing Westminster, I sat down with the Home Secretary Amber Rudd to discuss what must be done.

I was also joined by the Shadow Foreign Secretary Emily Thornberry and also her Labour colleague Rupa Huck.

It began when sexist and homophobic comments made by Labour MP Jared O'Mara emerged

and now nobody knows where it will end.

Westminster is in the grip of a full-blown crisis.

Politicians of all ages and all parties are facing accusations of sexual harassment, abuse and assault. A light is being shone into

Westminster's darkest corners. The sights are not pleasant. Sir Michael Fallon has already lost his

job as Defence Secretary and he denies an assault accusation. Conservative backbencher Charlie Elphick

has had the party with withdrawn after allegations about him were passed to the police, he denies

any wrongdoing.

On the Labour site, Kelvin Hopkins has been suspended pending investigation.

He denies the specific allegations, but of course was reprimanded by the party.

It is certainly not the case that things will end here.

With this in mind, and with senior politicians on all sides,
