Hi everybody, this is Darryl Craig Harris, Music Matters Podcast. I'm here at the London

0:21.5

Jazz Festival at the beautiful Toulouse La Trek Jazz Club, which is a great place,

0:26.2

fun intimate venue, and I have Laura, I.D., I.D., okay. See, I thought I was at the

0:33.0

beginning, I didn't get it. So yeah, I wanted to talk about being at the London Jazz

0:37.6

Festival, your music, which I was checking out today. It's great. It's interesting

0:41.6

because you're more than just only jazz, you're kind of world singer-songwriter.

0:46.4

Yes. And also too, you split your time between Athens and London also. So tell me

1:19.9

Canadian, and my dad's, yeah, from Lebanon. So I'm kind of based, yeah, between Athens and

1:26.9

London at the moment. I was living in London until recently, and then COVID hit, and I decided

1:31.6

to relocate back to Athens. Oh, okay. So every opportunity I get, for instance, this

1:36.4

is the first time I play the Jazz Festival. I took it. So I'm here to do that, basically.

1:41.7

So yeah, actually it's interesting too, because I mean, obviously Greece has a huge cultural

1:47.1

movement with art and music, and also Lebanese too, but it's music and the food is amazing.

1:52.3

Yeah, it is, right? It's actually a really interesting mix, and you hear that in your music,

1:56.3

because like I said, it's kind of to me more, it's almost like world, it's kind of an interesting
