So there's a pizza restaurant that opened recently in New York, Greg, and you I'm sure are very aware of this because you run Eater New York and cool pizza restaurants are like basically what you make your living on.

It's called Emmy squared, and it is the offshoot of a

pizza restaurant called Emily. They're like Emmy is a nickname for Emily and they serve

square pizza so that explains both of the words in the name. I just got that actually. I just got that

pun. I can't tell if you're joking. No seriously. I just thought it was Emmy

squared because it was like the sequel. On today's episode of The Eater Upsell, Greg and I are talking with Amanda Cohen.

Amanda Cohen is the chef of Dirt Candy, a restaurant in New York's Lower East Side,

and also the author of the Dirt Candy Cookbook, which is super cool for reasons

we will go into later.

And the point is this pizza is the best pizza ever.

It's so good. And if you go to the restaurant, it is perpetually mobbed and you have to wait forever or they're sold out of the pie that you want. You have to commit to the social endeavor of getting the pie of the moment. Or there's an Emmy Square hack.
