if I'm registered as a Democrat, can I vote in the Republican primary,

if I'm registered in a, as a Republican, can I vote in the Democrat primary?

And I always have to ask because it matters where you are to the answer of that question.

If you are in Texas and in most places around the country,

New York is one of the, is one of the exceptions.

But let me speak to Texas first because I'm sure of it here.

You do not register by party.

Now the reason this confuses people,

there are a couple of reasons this confuses people.

First of all, is there are people who will walk around and say,

I'm a registered, I mean, you got to rise.

I'm mad at so and so, but I'm a registered Republican.

Well, technically you're not.

There is no registration that has attached to it, your party.
