It's that time.

Time, time, time.

Lock and load.

The Michael Verishow is on the air.

With the news yesterday that Moby had passed,

a big star of Houston radio.

Before I was in Houston and even some of the overlap,

I wasn't really following those things.

I had my head in the books.

But a lot of folks were very, very connected.

In fact, Ramon made a decision to enter radio in one way or another

when he was in high school listening to KELOL in the morning on the way to school.

Mike McGuff has made it his passion project to follow media personalities

who come to Houston, leave Houston if you ever want to know.

Whatever happened to this or that person on the evening news, the local news.

Look up Mike McGuff, MCGUFF, and he's probably written where she is or where he's gone to.

And when somebody's coming, he'll give you the history on who they are.

I really don't know how he pays the bills, but I'm glad he does it,

because it's a passion project that we all benefit from.

But several years ago, he got very involved leading the charge,

maybe because nobody else would.

In telling the story of this heritage old station that meant so much to so many people,
