We entered the legislative session several months ago.

Which is 150 days every two years called a biennial

with a Republican majority in the House, Republican majority in the Senate,

Republican governor in every statewide elected official Republicans.

They were elected with a mandate

and very little of that has been accomplished.

But speaker of the House, Dave Fielin did accomplish what apparently was his highest priority

which was getting articles of impeachment on Ken Paxton to the Senate

so that we now have a fill-in attorney general for the state

and not a guy who was filing lawsuits against Joe Biden and winning over 90% of them.

So now we begin the special session part of this whole charade

and a number of state representatives and senators have had enough of this.

They're frustrated because it didn't need to come to this.
