It was 83 years ago today that Joe DiMaggio would hit safely for the 56th consecutive game a street that would end after its

accomplishment and a streak that still stands as a Major League Baseball record.

And I would argue has never even really been approached.

56 consecutive games with a hit. It's an incredible,

incredible feat and to think that in 83 years the home run record broken all the

steals record broke all the records that were broken and no one's even come close.

Born on this day, 57 years ago, Will Farrell, American actor comedian and producer,

and we decided to play for you a scene that is one of my favorites from the movie

Anchorman, where Ron Burgundy, the San Diego Anchorman, reads directly off the teleprompter and knowing

that, they write some things that will get him fired.

And it's sort of funny because we had the teleprompter president in Barack Obama, who everything

he said he read from the teleprompter.

And then now his vice president, Joe Biden, who can't even read the teleprompter.

But whatever you put on there, he will read.

As you know, he has at times read things like pause stop continue applause here's that scene here's

well Farrell I have some information that you can choose to use or not use up to you. Ron Burgundy will

read anything that is put on that teleprompter. And when I say anything I mean

eh nah nah nah nah nah nah. And when I say anything, I mean eh, me, eh, no.
