This could turn out to be a very, very important day.

The Supreme Court will release the ruling in the case of President Trump and whether or not he is immune from prosecution

for what they call his attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

This is the biggest case of the entire Supreme Court session and that session ends today.

So we will know something today.

In April, Justice Neil Gorsuch said, we're writing a rule for the ages.

They understand how important this is.

Jack Smith, who brought the case, who is the special counsel

without authority to be a special counsel, charged four felonies, and claimed that Donald Trump was trying to overturn the election,

or the results of the election.

And President Trump's team says,

well, these were our official duties.

We were acting, he was acting as president in his official capacity, and while acting in his official capacity, a president has immunity for those actions.

And there are a lot of reasons for that.

If the president has to send our troops into war and you later come back and say well

war is a terrible thing and you prosecute the president for that that would

make being president very, very difficult.

This case has reached the Supreme Court because the district and appellate courts

ruled against President Trump.
