Hey guys, welcome back to According to I'm Megan and I'm Sierra and we have a special guest for this episode.

So he's already been in one podcast episode before we kind of just talked about your life growing up.

And I think we mentioned at the end of the episode last week that we were going to have him

in an episode where we did another Am I the A-Hull Reddit thread because you really liked

that last one and gave your own opinions and so I was like well let's just do it all together.

So we have Mancer each pulled up seven different things that we found and hopefully they'll be

interesting to talk through and we can determine our own thoughts

on the scenario and if this person is in the right or wrong and we'll see if we agree or disagree

but before we do that we are going to do our weekly spotlight so my weekly spotlight although

than finishing up school because that is definitely a highlight would be I've been doing some online

shopping and just like looking at stuff I feel like I ever have time to do that, mostly like during finals. I feel like I didn't have time to do that. So it's just been like nice that I can look at stuff and shop around. So yeah. Daddy, you can go next. What's your weekly spotlight? Well, you know what mine's going to be. Having you guys come home for the holidays? So nice. Yeah. Yeah yeah yeah um my weekly spotlight is kind of the same

thing i'm just glad to be done with finals and finally able to relax and do what i want to do instead of just

being like well i guess i should study like you're out to take naps today and not feel guilty about it yeah

that was good you know i'm tired i can fall asleep right now and And it doesn't matter. So, that's my weekly spotlight. I also started watching The Ripper today. It's good so far. Did you know it's not about Jack the Ripper? It's about, because Jack the Ripper was in the 1800s, they didn't ever figure out who that it was. And then there was the Yorkshire Ripper, who was like in like the 1970s and so he was like named after Jack's Ripper still but I did not know that until I started watching it

so Sierra do you want to start with one or do you want me to start with one you can start okay so this one says am I the Aho for not agreeing to a name change for my daughter despite her father wanting one? So this is kind of long. All of mine are kind of long. My ex and I were engaged living together and planning on trying for kids after the wedding. The wedding got delayed and I found out I was pregnant shortly after. My ex freaked out and insisted it couldn't be his baby because he wasn't ready to be a dad, and this was all happening too fast, and wasn't how he planned it. And he said he needed some time to think everything over. He then moved out, blocked me, and didn't answer any kind of attempted contact for 10 months. Our child was born, and without him there, and I named our daughter Elizabeth Laura Smith without his input, Elizabeth, because I like it, and it reminds me of my favorite book character.

Laura after my grandmother and Smith is my surname. My ex has reached out. He said he wanted, he waited this long because he wasn't sure how far long I was when we were together, but he figured the baby had to have been born by now. I said that his timing was a little off because she was five months old. My ex said he's planning to store dot custody. We're not, we've not discussed logistics yet,

but he's unlikely to get anything before she turns one. He asked if I'd named her yet,

and I told him what I'd named her. As she's five months old. He said he hates the name. He

thinks it sounds old and stuffy. He says that as his mother, Mary has recently passed away, he wants to name our daughter Mary. He says, Mary must be the first name that I can't have, that I can have either Elizabeth or Laura as the middle name. I made clear no uncertain terms that I will not change her name. I hate the name Mary. I hate how it sounds, both alone and with Elizabeth slash Laura Smith on the end of it. Plus, I didn't like his mother, although I did not remind him of that. My ex said that if I were going to co-parent, that I have to learn to compromise, and this is the place to start, and that it's unfair that I go to choose both her first and middle name. I said if he hadn't blocked me for the better part of a year, he'd have a say and all this, but that was not the case. And then he said
