1 Timothy 1, verse 5.

He says, now the end of the commandment.

Let me back up and read verse 4, excuse me, verse 4 as well.

Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies which minister questions rather

than godly edifying, which is in faith, so do.

And now the end of the commandment is charity or love out of a pure heart and of a good conscience and of faith unfaigned from which some

having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling.

Let me read that again.

Think about it.

The end of the commandment.

See, Paul, after many years of ministerial experience and much revelation, he sums up some things here.

He says, the end of the commandment is love out of a pure heart and a good conscience and faith unfamed.

Everybody say faith unfaigned.

That's the subject of my message this morning is unfained faith.

Unfeigned faith.

He said, that's the end of the commandment, is love out of a pure heart, a good conscience,

and faith unfamed.

You could take those three things and talk about them for a long time.

They're very, very important. He sums many things up with these three elements.

Verse six, he says, from which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling.

If you skip down to verse 19, he says holding faith and a good conscience, see he's repeating some of the same thoughts, holding on to faith, and of course he said unfaimed faith,

and a good conscience, which some having put away concerning faith, have made shipwreck.
