Hello, everybody and welcome to Three Point Perspective, the podcast about illustration, how to do it, how to make a living at it, and how to make an impact in the world with your art.

I'm Anthony Wheeler.

Family White.

And I'm Will Terry.

And all three of us are professional illustrators.

We've all worked for all the major publishers in the business.

Together we published somewhere around 75 children's books and we've all taught

illustration at university art schools. That is right. Every week we come at you guys with

fantastic illustrator interviews or listener questions just like you might have. Sometimes we

agree, sometimes we argue, but each time you learn something, friends make it new.

Does it feel like we're the kids running the show right now?

It does. Like dad, dad's gone.

We should just, like, we should just let everybody know that like the podcast is Jake's baby.

And yeah. And he really keeps everything on the rails he keeps everything working so when he's not here it's like we one feel

like we have to live up to his expectations yeah but at the same time we could break some of the

rules yeah when the cats away the mice will play i mean ultimately the elephant in the room is he couldn't But at the same time, we could break some of the rules.

Yeah, when the cats away, the mice will play.

I mean, ultimately, the elephant in the room is he couldn't be here today because he's in Antarctica teaching penguins how to ink with brush pens.

So he thought that that was a better idea than hanging out with us today.

Well, did you see his invention?

No.

It's a flipper adapter that can hold a pen because that's the problem that penguins have had up to this point is they cannot hold the pen.
