Greater Good, and she has an amazingly long and varied history in the animal protection movement.

Recently, her research has been focused on topics ranging from the experience of women,

working within animal rights organizations, and the impact of effective altruism on movement focus.

These are two enormously important topics.

Yeah, she's super smart, super cool.

And I was just being funny when I said, this is Jasmine Singer, because I liked that you said,

I thought it was, I don't, I think you're over explaining here. Probably.

So I had a story come out this week on WXXXI, which is the NPR, Rochester, New York affiliate,

where I am the weekend host and reporter.

And it was about cats.

I just love when I get to do animal stories, and it's so hard for me to not do them all

the time.

Yeah, I know.

Like, why does anybody want to listen to stories that aren't about animals?

I don't understand it.

But this is a really special story for me because it was about a cat rescue and sanctuary,

which is where my cats were before they came to live with me.
