Laura Mathias is a speaker, presenter, model, and visible difference campaigner listed in the Female Lead’s ‘role models to follow.’ Since ‘coming out’ about her alopecia in 2020 - after two decades of hiding her hair loss - Laura has secured media opportunities to raise awareness of the impact of living with a visible difference on This Morning (ITV), Life Hacks (BBC Radio 1), My body, my rules (Channel 4) and The One Show (BBC 1) in addition, to being a regular guest and ‘takeover’ host, for regional media outlets (BBC Look East, BBC Radio Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk).
