Summary

As he sat in a jail in Ammonihah, imprisoned for preaching and horrified at witnessing one of the worst atrocities in the Book of Mormon, Alma cried out to God, "How long shall we suffer these great afflictions, O Lord? With so much pain and suffering in the world today we may feel to cry out with the same question. 0:48.9	we're going to be studying Alma 8 through 16. And to explain that just a little bit to you is we mentioned a few
0:57.6	weeks ago that we were moving and we are literally boxed in our fancy studio tonight piles of boxes.
1:07.9	Here we are spending the last night in our house recording a podcast episode.
1:13.4	And Zach told me, he's like, this feels very fitting that we're recording an episode on our

1:19.4	Late at night when we're tired and exhausted.

1:28.7	You thought we had a fancy studio before.

1:39.9	But also, as we studied, we couldn't help but kind of see that this could be an episode not only relevant for what's happening in our world right now, but also that this story is one great big story.
