Summary

As he sat in a jail in Ammonihah, imprisoned for preaching and horrified at witnessing one of the worst atrocities in the Book of Mormon, Alma cried out to God, "How long shall we suffer these great afflictions, O Lord? With so much pain and suffering in the world today we may feel to cry out with the same question. In this study we seek for some answers and solace to why God allows suffering and what we can learn about Him even as we try to endure. Show Notes: Richard G. Scott, "Finding Joy in Life," General Conference, April 1996. Visit our website scripturestudyproject.com or connect to us on Instagram or Facebook Music: "Something Elated" by Broke For Free

The boxes are new.

1:33.0

But we kind of did this for a few reasons.

1:36.6

We need a little bit of a break as we transition our family.

1:39.9

But also, as we studied, we couldn't help but kind of see that this could be an episode not only relevant for what's happening in our world right now, but also that this story is one great big story.

1:55.1

And that over these next two weeks, we hope that this will just give you a start to your own study in these really rich
