And I'm Jack Welch, and it's wonderful to have you with us,

and I hope everything is going so well for you in your Scripture study,

and come follow me lessons this year.

Today we'll be looking at Alma chapters 8 through 12.

This is the beautiful missionary chapters where Alma is able to preach mainly to Amaniha.

And it doesn't end in chapter 12, though.

Aminiha continues on until next week as well.

That's right.

It's amazing that Alma gives us chapters 8 through 16 on this experience, a terrible experience

that he's had in Aminaiah, when you compare that with,

and how much did we get when he went to the city of Gideon?

You know, that was last week.

And they were righteous, they were good.

We got a little bit.

And then today, chapter 8 starts out with just a few verses on Melech.

They were righteous.

They're baptized.

They're good.

And then we get an enormous amount of

information on the wickedness. And of course, Alma is in Aminae, longer than in those two places.

Yeah, 10 months it says. And much of that time in prison and torture. No doubt there's a lot to be said.
