Lord I believe help thou mine unbelief.

May our testimonies. mine unbelief.

May our testimonies be as deep and strong as that of Jacob, when confronted by one who sought to destroy his faith declared,

I could not be shaken. The Oh, Now so far we've been watching this letter exchange between Maroni and Amaran. There's another set of letters exchange

that we need to spend some time on two.

And this one is between Moroni and Pahoran,

who happens to be the chief judge at the time.

The story begins in chapter 59. We just skipped over a bunch of

stuff about the stripling warriors, which we'll cover in the second half of this lesson.

But still focusing on Moroni's strength, which leads to some potential weakness, see it start to unfold in chapter 59.

In verse one, he's just heard from Helaman about how things are going for those stripling

lawyers. He's thrilled that they've been so successful, but also very

concerned at the smallness of their numbers. They're going to need more

reinforcements. They need more help. We'll talk more about that next time too.

So what does he do in verse 3? It came to pass that he immediately sent an epistle to Pahoran,

desiring that he should cause men to be gathered together to strengthen Helaman or the armies of Helaman.

Now this is part of Moroni's strength.

One of the things that makes him such an effective military commander is that he's a man of

action.

He doesn't get this letter from Helaman and say, well, we should probably, I don't know, organize some kind of exploratory committee and do some testing, maybe some surveys that we could send out, maybe a focus group or something, and maybe decide some different possibilities

of things that we could do to make things a little easier for Helaman and his men.
