0:13.2	excited to welcome Kevin to join me today Kevin is the chief technology
0:17.8	officer here at Scripture Central working working on all kinds of fun projects

0:23.9	Yeah, there are some great things that are happening here, some apps that we are creating
0:27.0	that we are going to talk about today.
0:28.1	Yeah, we are going to give you kind of an extended look at one of the amazing apps that
0:35.1	Kevin and his team have produced called the Gospel Learning app and
0:39.6	we'll show you how it could enhance your Scripture study efforts. So looking forward to
0:45.6	that. As we dive in to these chapters, there's a perspective we wanted to start with.
0:55.0	And I'll put it in a little table of sorts here.
1:00.0	What you have is Alma is going to teach in four different cities.
1:07.0	So you're going to have cities that are basically mostly members of the church. You're
1:16.5	going to have two cities that are mostly not members of the church, and you have some people who do really well and who are really successful in what's going
1:34.4	on in life and you have those who are really struggling. They're not doing well. And watch
1:40.9	what happens. Elma is going to begin his missionary journey in the city of
1:48.0	Zarahemla. This is the city that is the capital of the nation, but it's also the center
1:59.0	part of the church. And they're struggling. And so he's going to teach
2:04.4	them in a way that is a little bit different than these others. Leaving Zahrahemla, he's
2:10.6	going to go to the land of Gideon. Gideon, mostly members of the church, he arrives there and finds out,
2:20.3	wow, they're doing very, very well. And so he gives them a different sort of a message.
