0:00.0	Hello there, my name is Tyler Griffin. My name is Jacob Griffin. And this is Scripture Study Insights by Scripture Central. Today, Alma Chapter 32 through 35.
0:13.0	And I'm excited to welcome my son Jacob. He's our second child to come and join me as we explore these chapters together. So before we dive
0:24.3	in to chapter 32, I just want to take this opportunity to ask you, Jacob, what would you
0:33.0	say is an overarching theme that blessed your life in these chapters 32 through 35?
0:40.5	That's a great question. I think one thing that has really stood out to me as I've studied
0:45.5	in these specific chapters is just the importance of focusing on and making Christ the center
0:51.7	of literally everything that we do.
0:54.3	We get Alma teaching for two chapters here and then Amulik teaches for a little while as well.
0:59.9	And they're both so centered on the Savior.
1:02.7	And so there's a quote actually from President Nelson that's really important when it comes to
1:08.0	centering our lives on Jesus Christ.
1:09.7	And he says, nothing invites the spirit more than fixing your focus on Jesus Christ.
1:14.9	Talk of Christ, rejoicing Christ, feast upon the words of Christ, and press forward with
1:20.2	steadfastness in Christ.
1:21.9	And I think the overarching message for me in these chapters specifically is the
1:26.4	importance of focusing everything who we are, who we
1:30.2	want to be on our Savior Jesus Christ. That's a beautiful overlay for any chapters of scripture
1:39.9	that you study, but especially these is to keep Jesus Christ at the center, at the focus. He
1:49.7	is the source of all solution. He is the inspiration for all of us to be able to move forward
1:58.4	and to be happier and more fulfilled and to accomplish our life's
2:02.8	missions. So whether we're seeing him through the life and ministry of Alma and Amulek, through
2:12.6	Christ-like symbols of how they're living their life or how they're teaching, or whether we see it
