0:02.0	Today we'll be discussing Alma 32 to 35.
0:06.1	So this particular block of Scripture, chapters 32, 33, 34, and 35 are all taking place
0:13.8	down in Antionum, where we left off last week's lesson among the Zormites.

0:53.9	So let's begin with that concept here, because it is such
0:57.2	a critical element in our understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is the first principle
1:03.0	of the gospel to have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. To illustrate some of the elements here,
1:09.8	I'm going to begin with a little totally made-up story,
1:13.8	might even call it just a simple parable of faith, to illustrate one aspect of faith that's really
1:21.2	important. Once upon a time, there's a man standing on the edge of a cliff looking at the
1:26.2	beautiful sunset over the ocean below
1:28.7	him, far below.
1:30.3	And he was enjoying all these beauties of nature when all of a sudden a wind, a gust of
1:35.3	wind came from behind, knocked him off balance, and unfortunately he lost his footing and fell
1:40.7	off the cliff.
1:42.1	So as he's falling, he's praying to be saved and there happens to be a tree growing out off the cliff. So as he's falling, he's praying to be saved, and there
