When the son of man cometh shall he find faith on the earth.

May our testimonies mine unbelief.

May our testimonies be as deep and strong as that of Jacob, who was confronted by one who sought to destroy his faith declared,

I could not be shaken. The Oh, Now there's still two more echoes that we need to hear.

28 is an echo of war that we've seen

seen earlier now repeated and then 29 is an echo of

of praise of God and another missionary homecoming like we saw back in 26.

But before we get there, can I just say one last thing about Alma 27?

Because I think there is such a powerful lesson embedded in that chapter in making big difficult decisions.

That's what the anti-Nefai Lehi is we're asked to do, right?

What are you going to do?

What do we do in this situation?

Do we stay here and get massacred?

Do we go back to the Nephites and hope to throw ourselves at their feet on their mercy?

What are we going to do here? And the steps they took to arrive at their decision are such great

principles to follow. We don't need much time to do this. We can kind of skim over

the verses that we've already really analyzed, but watch the process unfold. In verse

four, they clearly identify the issue.

In their case, the anti-Nefy Lehehies are being massacred.

What are we going to do?

In your case, marriage or mission or job or relocation or whatever the decision is that's weighing on you. or Do your best thinking. For them it was, well let's gather everybody and head back home to our place.
