May our testimonies be as deep and strong as that of Jacob, when confronted by one who sought to destroy his faith declared,

I could not be shaken. The Oh, Now the narrative we've been following doesn't stop for long. The aftermath of the Sons of

of Mosiah's mission that we've seen in the destruction of the anti-Nefai

Lehi's and the joining of more than the number that were slain, the

repeating rounds of opposition and

conviction and conversion, second and third chances to join this group. We see all of

that. We'll see it pick up again in Alma 27. But Mormon

interrupts the flow of the narrative to include one incredible chapter. One of the most beautiful in all the Book of Mormon in my opinion,

Alma chapter 26.

Now one way to see Alma 26 is as if it were Amman's missionary homecoming talk.

It's always amazing to see young elders and

sisters or senior missionaries come home from their missions and report to speak in

sacrament meeting and talk about the experiences they've had. Those are some of the most powerful messages we get in Sacramento.

Because it's people whose lives have been changed

as they've been involved in seeing God change the lives of those that they're serving.

Well, Alma 26 is Ammon's Homecoming address.

And just like when you listen to a mission homecoming talk

from an elder or sister that's been out and just came home,

it's like, wow, they grew up a lot in the time that they were gone.
