Hello my friends. Thanks so much for joining me for another week of Book of Mormon

study here on Unshaken. Today we have some incredible chapters to discuss, Alma 17 through 22, what we normally think

of as the missionary chapters of the Book of Mormon, although missionary chapters are scattered

throughout.

But before we jump into those, there was one thing I wanted to share just briefly.

I'm so thrilled that our community of unshaken Saints is growing.

I'm always amazed at the number of people around the world that want to dive into the Book of Mormon in ways that perhaps

they haven't before. So to you who are new to the channel, welcome aboard. We're

thrilled to have you. But you have missed a few things since we started. I

started filming these lessons when we were in the book of

Jacob and since then our audience seems to grow and grow each week. But that means that early

on we met King Benjamin and a little bit later we met a Benadai and the messages of

those two prophets are life-changing. I invite you to go back when you have time and

view the lessons from Mosiah 1 through 6. Those were four videos and then the lessons from

Mosiah 11 through 17. Two videos that time. Because the doctrines and

principles that King Benjamin and Abinad I teach are some of the most essential life-changing truths that you'll find anywhere in the Book of Mormon.

To understand grace and where works fit in and why God asks us to do things and yet still maintains that it is by grace that we are saved.

To see the gap that opens up between our beliefs and our behaviors and see what God asks us to do to bridge

that gap versus what the natural man sometimes suggests instead.

So if you want to change the way you view grace and works, if you want to purify your motives for why you're trying

to live the gospel, if you want to come to terms with your own natural man or natural woman,

while neither excusing it nor be raiding yourself for it.
