Hi, it's Andy here and welcome to Radio Headspace and to Tuesday morning.

So today of course here in America is Election Day and probably you know that wherever

you are in the world, it feels like we've been building up to it for a very long time.

And there's just as much uncertainty now as there has been for quite some time and

I suspect it will continue to be some uncertainty for many days, perhaps even weeks to come.

And living with uncertainty is never an easy thing.

So often in life there are these big moments that happen, whether it's for us as individuals,

whether it's for our families, the people around us, perhaps in our work, our friends, maybe

even in our communities and on rare occasions as a nation as well.

There are these sort of tectonic shifts where it feels like everything is about to change

or as though everything has just changed.

And very often we might in those moments reflect that it's either good or bad.

We see it's sort of quite binary very often.

And I don't know about you when I look back over my life so often it's the case that situations

that at first appeared very positive, very good.

Actually didn't necessarily work out all that well.

And likewise situations that seemed really bad, really difficult, really challenging.

As you more often than not, something good came out of them.

And it is really important to keep that in mind.

However you're hoping things might go today or in another area of your life at another

time in your life.

It's really important that we, as much as possible, keep an open mind and allow room for
