Welcome to Allocation Disorder. I am Sam Stay School joined as always by Paul Tenoria. We have a big show today. Lots to discuss. MLS teams are rampaging through the Conca Calf Champions League. Not a sentence that anyone has literally ever said before in human history. I'm so excited to talk about that. MLS TV ratings, not quite as positive a story. Paul

has some thoughts there. I don't know what they are, but he's told me that he's prepared a rant.

So we're going to get to that later in the show. And then a few other things, just kind of

impressions of some of the things happening around the league, maybe some talk about Charlotte FC, and one item that we didn't really hit in our discussion about

our anonymous survey of team executives from last week, but one topic that they discussed

pretty in-depth was intra-league transfers. They don't exist currently.

A lot of people would like to see them exist.

So we'll talk a little bit about that as well.

But we're starting with CCL, Paul.

And like I said, pretty, I mean, it's only one leg.

But MLS teams have gotten off to a fantastic start in the quarterfinal round.

Tuesday night, New York City FC got things going with a 3-1 win over Comunicassiones in East Hartford, Connecticut,

because the Yankee Stadium is not approved by Concaf for CCL play.

So they played a home game in Hartford in front of, I think, 12 to 15,000 Guatemalan fans.

So that was an interesting, unique environment, but they got the win.

Seattle, I think for me, I mean, we're splitting hairs, but for me, probably the most impressive result of the first legs, absolutely throttled.

Leon, 3-0.

Christian Raldon, immense performance, Freddie Montero with a couple of goals.

And then Wednesday night, New England, continued the theme, beating Pumas at Gillette

Stadium in some miserable-looking weather, 3-0.
