We were expecting to have resolution on the MLS CBA at this point.

The league and the Players Association extended the deadline for talks until 11.59 p.m. Eastern on Friday evening to get a deal done.

It sort of seems like it's trending in that direction.

We're going to talk about a little bit about the CBA, a little bit about Cincinnati,

a little bit about some of the other moves that have been happening around MLS and involving

MLS players here over the last week or so.

for that. First, just laying out a little bit further where things stand with the CBA,

the league issued a statement on Thursday evening, announcing that it would extend talks until

Friday. And in that announcement, it basically said that the two sides are making progress

and that there's a decent amount of ground left to cover, but things have moved quite a long way.

From what Paul and I have been told, the league is still still holding firm to the two-year extension through

And Paul, I'll get your take on this in a second, but if I had to bet on it, I would guess

that a deal would get done through 2027 with some givebacks to the players in the form

of maybe loosening the restrictions on free agency and maybe some gains between
