Pablo, this is an upgrade over Sam's Day School. Welcome to the show. Thank you for being here.

In what ways is this an upgrade? You've replaced a reporter who has some of the deepest knowledge of the intricacies and stupidities of MLS roster rules with somebody who does not fundamentally understand the game of soccer.

I'm not really sure what's happened here.

That's fair, but I do think you have a really good understanding of the intricacies and

stupidities of American soccer history, which is, you know, just as important, if not more so

than, you know, the MLS roster rules and regulations.

But yeah, I mean, we should probably start off by asking you to explain the discovery process

and your intimate

understanding of how that works. This is at least an aesthetic upgrade, I think, between, you know,

from Sam. I'm not sure, you know. Well, I wanted to make sure I had a black tea on, but unfortunately,

it's not sleeveless as you prefer it. But, you know, at least we've got the same motif going. I, Pablo, I am in Wisconsin at a lakehouse. I have a very lakehouse vibe going on around me here. But as you know, because I usually take part in staff calls when I'm up here from another room in this lakehouse that has a different motif that you guys usually prefer when I'm here. I chose not to have that

for allocation disorder. It is, it's, you know, we won't go into too much detail about what that

room is like, but, you know, I just vaguely say cursed artwork. Yeah, definitely cursed artwork.

Just the sort of stuff you see like in your grandparents house. like my mother has a collection of like old

porcelain dolls that every time i'm they're you know very deep you know she grew up in spain in the

50s this is some deeply sort of like supernatural stuff i'm sure anything bad that's happening

my life is because of either that or the Rowdies doll or the Rowdies

doll or now more recently like the ghosts of Wee Willie McLean you know yeah I'm just

collecting we're going to talk plenty about we Willie McLean in the second segment we will probably
